Overview

As a Machining and Automation Technician at SENAI, I was responsible for combining mechanical design, CNC programming, and industrial automation to support technical education and applied innovation projects.
My work contributed to the modernization of SENAI’s training environments and to collaborative projects with industrial partners, enhancing production efficiency and hands-on learning

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Design and Drafting:
  Created and interpreted detailed mechanical drawings using CAD software for both manufacturing and automation applications.

• CNC Programming and Operation:
  Programmed and operated CNC machines using manual G-code and CAN interface integration, performing turning, milling, and grinding with precision and adherence to technical standards.

• Automation System Development:
  Designed and implemented automation systems and prototypes, integrating sensors, actuators, relays, and control logic for industrial applications.

• Machining and Fabrication:
  Performed precision machining on CNC and conventional machines, ensuring quality, alignment, and surface finish within required tolerances.

• Applied Technical Projects:
  Collaborated with instructors, students, and industrial partners on projects that merged machining, mechatronics, and automation, promoting real-world skill development.

• Testing and Optimization:
  Supported maintenance, calibration, and optimization of mechatronic systems developed in SENAI laboratories or partner company projects.

• Safety and Quality Control:
  Maintained strict adherence to safety and quality standards, ensuring organized, efficient, and hazard-free work environments.
