Responsibilities

  • Developed, executed, and managed preventive and corrective maintenance plans for machining equipment used in educational and industrial environments, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, bench grinders, and band saws.

  • Diagnosed mechanical and electromechanical failures, performing repairs, adjustments, and component replacements.

  • Designed and manufactured replacement parts (pulleys, gears, shafts, supports) using machining, turning, milling, and welding processes.

  • Performed welding and light fabrication work to adapt and reinforce safety guards and support structures, following technical and safety standards.

  • Maintained technical records and maintenance reports to ensure traceability of all interventions.

  • Assisted instructors and students in the proper use and care of equipment, contributing to a safe and functional learning environment.

  • Ensured organization of the maintenance area, management of tools, and compliance with institutional policies and safety regulations.
